देवास। गजरा गियर चौराहे पर अमर शहीद सरदार भगत सिंह, राजगुरु और सुखदेव की प्रतिमाएं लगी है। कल असामाजिक तत्वों द्वारा सरदार भगत सिंह की प्रतिमा पर मिट्टी लगा दी गई। यह जानकारी लगते ही शहीद भगत सिंह क्लब के कार्यकर्ता प्रतिमा स्थल पर जा पहुंचे और उक्त घटना का विरोध करते हुए नारेबाजी की। साथ ही प्रशासन से मांग की कि ऐसे असामाजिक तत्वों का पता लगा कर उन पर सख्त कार्रवाई की जाए।

आपको बता दें गजरा गियर चौराहे पर प्रतिमा स्थल के आसपास असामाजिक तत्वों का जमावड़ा रहता है। देखरेख के अभाव में यहां बाउंड्री वाल के भीतर मवेशी प्रवेश कर जाते हैं। कल शाम यहां की टाइल्स उखाड़ दी गई। इतना ही नहीं सरदार भगत सिंह की प्रतिमा पर मिट्टी भी लगा दी गई। घटना की जानकारी लगने पर भारतसिंह क्लब के कार्यकर्ता संयोजक अशोक कहार के नेतृत्व में प्रतिमा स्थल पहुंचे। उन्होंने सबसे पहले प्रतिमा पर लगी मिट्टी को स्वच्छ पानी से धोकर साफ किया और प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण किया गया।

क्लब के संयोजक अशोक कहार ने कहा कि यहां प्रतिमा स्थल पर असामाजिक तत्वों का जमावड़ा रहता है। बाउंड्री वॉल पर गंदे मेले कुचेले कपड़े सुखाए जाते हैं। यहां शराबियों का भी जमावड़ा रहता है। इसे लेकर पूर्व में भी कोतवाली थाने पर भी ज्ञापन दिया जा चुका है। उसके बावजूद ऐसी घटनाएं घटित होती रहती हैं। इन्हें रोकने के लिए प्रशासन से पुरजोर मांग की गई। भगत सिंह क्लब के कार्यकर्ताओं ने यहां जमकर नारेबाजी भी की।
