देवास। लोकतंत्र का महापर्व मनाने के लिए देवास जिले के लोग घरों से निकलकर मतदान केंद्रों की ओर उमड़ पड़े। सुबह से ही मतदान केंद्रों पर लंबी कतारे देखी गई। इसबार के मतदान की खासियत यह रही कि खामोश मतदाता राजनीतिक दलों की टेबलों को नकार कर सीधे मतदान केंद्र पर पहुंचे और अपने मताधिकार का उपयोग किया। मतदाताओं की खामोशी ने प्रत्यशियों की धड़कने बढ़ा दी है। जिले में 80 फीसदी से ज्यादा मतदान भाजपा की पुनः वापसी का संकेत है, या मतदाताओ की खामोशी बदलाव की बयार है, यह कह पाना अभी मुश्किल होगा।
देवास जिले की सभी पांचों विधानसभा सीट देवास, सोनकच्छ, हाटपिपल्या, खातेगांव और बागली के लिए मतदान करने लोगों में खासा उत्साह देखा गया। जिले में इसबार 81.23 फीसदी मतदान हुआ, जिसमें सबसे ज्यादा मतदान हाटपिपल्या विधानसभा क्षेत्र में 84.66 फीसदी हुआ, वही जिले का सबसे कम मतदान देवास विधानसभा में 75.07 फीसदी हुआ। वहीं सोनकच्छ में 83.60, खातेगांव में 81.47 और बागली में 82.77 फीसदी मतदान हुआ।
जिले में भारी तादाद में हुए मतदान के बाद जीत को लेकर लोगो ने कयास लगाना शुरू कर दिए है। कुछ लोग जहां ज्यादा हुए मतदान को भाजपा की पुनः सरकार बनने के संकेत बता रहे हैं। वही कुछ जानकारों का मत है कि इस बार के मतदान में मतदाता पूरी तरह खामोश है यह कहीं बदलाव की बयार तो नहीं। परिणाम जो भी हो वह तो फ़िलहाल evm मैं बंद हो चुका है। जो 11 दिसंबर को ही सामने आएगा। लेकिन राजनीति के जानकार अपने अपने कयास लगा रहे हैं। बात देवास जिले की करें तो यहां हुए 75 फीसदी से अधिक मतदान को लेकर भाजपा जहां सुकून की सांस ले रही है, वही इसे कांग्रेस समर्थक बदलाव की बयार बता रहे हैं। कुल मिलाकर देवास में मुकाबला कांटे का है। देवास जिले की सोनकच्छ विधानसभा और हाटपिपलिया मध्य प्रदेश की चर्चित सीटों में है। सोनकच्छ से जहां कांग्रेस के कद्दावर नेता सज्जन वर्मा का मुकाबला भाजपा के राजेंद्र वर्मा से है। वहीं यहां से निर्दलीय उम्मीदवार धर्मराज प्रधान सामाजिक समीकरण के चलते राजनीतिक समीकरण बिगाड़ सकते हैं। जिले की दूसरी चर्चित सीट हाटपीपल्या की बात करें तो यहां जिले का सबसे ज्यादा मतदान 84.66 फीसदी हुआ। यहां भाजपा से मंत्री दीपक जोशी का मुकाबला कांग्रेस के युवा उम्मीदवार मनोज चौधरी से है। दीपक जोशी के खिलाफ यहां जितनी एन्टी इनकंबेंसी थी, वहीं मनोज चौधरी के साथ हाटपिपल्या क्षेत्र से पूर्व विधायक कांग्रेसी दिग्गज राजेन्द्र सिंह बघेल की नाराजगी के चलते यहां भी टक्कर कांटे की हो गई है। दोनों ही प्रतिद्वंदियों ने अपने समर्थन में ज्यादा से ज्यादा वोट कराने के प्रयास किये। ऐसी स्थिति में यहां ज्यादा मतदान का फायदा किसे मिल रहा है, यह कह पाना मुश्किल होगा।
